The Power of Our Thoughts
One of the most tremendous things I have learned in the short time on planet earth is how powerful our thoughts really are.
Most people have heard the quote by Descartes
"I think therefore I am", but have you really stopped to reflect what this means in your own life? I've learned that knowing what this means insofar as our
creative potential is essential in designing the lives we really want.
The fact of the matter is, the power of our thinking is not typically highlighted in our education systems, and in most cases, is never mentioned at any time during our adult life either. This is a lesson that only the "
privileged" or
"lucky" stumble upon, which is why I make it my personal responsibility to share this information with as many people as possible.
So let me put it all out on the table for you.
Your life is a direct reflection of what you hold as Truth in your Consciousness.
In other words, what you think about consistently, day to day is what you attract into your life. If your always thinking
negatively, then it won't be surprising to have negative experiences. The same is true if you are holding positive thoughts throughout the day.
This is not just about positive or negative people; it actually goes a lot deeper then merely surface thoughts. The real meat of
Mental Science is found in learning how our thoughts translate into our health, the quality of our lives, and the degree in which we experience the essential
Spirit of our lives.
I am going to share with you here how you can tap into your creative potential and unleash what may be dormant creative faculties through dissolving mental blocks which can be found in our subconscious.
To begin, I want to tell you about
Mind Treatment. This is a potent spiritual tool in cleansing the subconscious, and
re-wiring our inner programming to start shifting how we create (and experience) our lives.
Affirmations are always spoken in the
First Person, Present-tense, for maximum effect. We need to use words like
I am and
It will. If what we are looking for is greater abundance in our lives, then we can't be promoting
lack in our thoughts or words, because that is exactly what is keeping it from expressing in our lives.
Next, I want to tell you about
Visioning. This is a popular tool in many esoteric traditions, most of which recognise the creative potential of our thoughts. Visioning is about holding specific elements of the experiences we would like to have in our minds eye, as well as energising them with focus and emotions. In other words, the more
real we make the visioning experience, the more
power we are imbuing with our intention.
Lastly, I want to tell you about
Meditation. A lot of people are unsure about this potent, spiritual technology, merely because there is a lot of
mis-information about it on the Internet. I want to keep it simple for you, so think of meditation as
"the practice of quieting the mind."
I am sure we can all agree that the mind is never ending with its thoughts, and until we can get a handle on this movie-like stream of thinking; developing focus for visioning and being able to silence negative self talk will be quite difficult. Make meditation a part of your daily routine, and you will begin to experience greater calm, tranquility and peace throughout your day. Not to mention the benefits it offers when it comes to incorporating the other tools of self development I have mentioned.
If you can take putting these elements into your daily practice seriously, then I guarantee that you will experience a 180 degree shift in your experience of life, as you move in to conscious control of your innate, creative powers and potentials that lie within.
Namaste.
