The But Factor

While some of us have had some changing lessons , there are a few we would like to teach our kids so they know that they are not alone and when they face these issues, they will understand life better.

Be truthful but being truthful is painful and reward less sometimes.

Be kind but being nice could be labelled as having innate interests.

Be trustworthy but know that your trust could be broken.

Be wise but be prepared to be alone.

Be good but remember people will hardly recognise it.

Be thoughtful but know that it always does not fetch appreciation.

Be focused but know that you will always be called selfish.

Be unique but know that you might be called peculiar.

Be polite but know that you might be called a pushover.

Be successful but realise you have to pay a price for it.
