Spirit Loves Sweet Service for Others

You really need to have a cause that is bigger than yourself. You need to focus on outcomes that are bigger and grander than your daily outcomes. For instance, going to work to pay the bills does not create an outcome greater than your daily needs. If that is okay with you, below is a tiny extract from my massive thesis on this subject. I have re-written in more lay terms for Self Avenue.

You need to know when you have achieved all or part of your vision; the various milestones along the way so you can celebrate them. "Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favour and a good name in the sight of God and man." (Proverbs 3:3-4)

Whether you're into religion or not; having a vision and a purpose in your life is really important if you wish to achieve lavish abundance and prosperity in your life. You need a definiteness of purpose, and be crystal clear on what you want. And when you have this, abundance will revolve around you so fast, you will be wondering where it has been hiding from you for all of those lean years. I also need to make things clear, it does not matter how long it takes. If you have faith in yourself and in your God given talents and abilities, you will get there. It took me 31 years of my life, and six years on this path to work out what it is I truly want, and what I truly want to be doing. Life requires patience, so do not rush your good into you, unless you want the results rushed out of you. Yet I've just received my doctorate at the ripe young age of 33. A massive undertaking, responsibility and weight on young shoulders to be of even more sweet, spiritual service to the world.

Abundance begins with a foundation. You need to build a house with bricks. Not a house made of straw, as the latter is built on a weak foundation. Patience is a virtue. Your life design needs not to be rushed, but to be done properly. The universe is not on our time, however it is always on time. Time is an illusion when you're present and living in the now anyway.

"Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets (in this stone age to write it down on a piece of paper, in a book and/or make a movie of it) so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and it will not provide false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and it will not delay." (Habakkuk 2:2-4)

As in Matthew 7:7, if we ask God for guidance, he will answer our requests. If you need more clarity on your vision, all you have to do is ask for guidance. The vision of your life, your life's purpose, calling and dharma points your future, and directs your future in a powerful way. Your future is really what you make of it, and when you're fulfilling your purpose; abundance comes to you so fast, you really do wonder where it has been hiding from you for all of those lean years. As the saying goes "without a vision people perish."

Your vision gives you a purpose in life, a real reason for living instead of living the daily grind that you are used to up until now. Having a vision for your life keeps you focused, as Jerry Maguire did when he had mission statements for his team.

Every day gives you a chance to succeed or to perish. The choice is ultimately yours. As you are reading this article this far, then chances are you definitely want success, peace, joy and happiness in your world. Not lack and limitation. The good things that happen in your life, as well as the not so good things will pass. Buddha has taught me the power of impermanence, as well as Jesus Christ.

Everything that arises passes away. Things that really appear to be bad really aren't that bad at all. As in Psalm 37:5 God really has the ability to bring things to pass and into fruition. With God nothing is impossible, and all things are possible - Matthew 19:26.

When ordinary people see that having a vision is a real possibility, extraordinary things happen. Allow miracles to be everyday occurrences. In the abundant land, miracles are regular occurrences, and in most cases they are daily. Rome wasn't built in a day, and miracles do not happen overnight. The latter is only the case if you believe. "Miracles are everyday occurrences" if you allow them to be. We are all here for a plan and a purpose. To live a fruitful, abundant life. Not a life of lack and limitation.

When you have a vision, you are going somewhere; and the powerful thing is that you have a cause way bigger than yourself. As I learnt in my various businesses to date, and through my work, it is not about me. It is about the people I am helping. Sweet service (to me) is all about my patients, clients, customers, writers, students and so on. When you have a cause that is much bigger than yourself, this is where abundance starts flooding in when you serve selflessly.

As in John 14:6 Jesus Christ knew who we was, and the same applies to you. You need to know who you are and what you stand for. For me when it comes to this I honour service, authenticity, integrity and selfless service for instance.

If you don't know who you are, you're not likely to know who you are about; what your life purpose, calling and dharma is. On what you are destined to achieve in this life which you may not have had the opportunity to achieve in your past life. Ask God for guidance again, and remember to listen to your intuition; and to look out for any signs coming from your subconscious mind.

The most effective visions are clear and relatable, which give people something to 'run' for. In other words, to strive to bring about. There is a big enough why, and then you know you are on track, and/or you may receive guidance through other people and/or through some spiritual means. This is where you need a lot of faith. For example with Forrest Gump, how he was determined to run, succeed and no longer live a life of wearing braces around his legs. Remember how his girlfriend Jenny in this movie used to always say "run Forrest run?"

So powerful. Get clear. Who are you? No who are you really? Who are you, and what are you about? Remember, you are here on planet earth to achieve great things, and not just to live an existence, but rather a life. A rich fulfilling one at that.

Remember, achieving your vision has a time to it. Do not be discouraged. Just remember that a vision has its time, and there can be a time lag between starting a new activity and achieving any success out of it. Everything new requires time, patience and practice.

Impatience and fear are the main killers of all dreams and entrepreneurial projects. Run with it and have faith. Trust God and trust the process. The words "in God we trust" is an excellent reminder to everyone, and to American people when they see their coins. "In God we trust" is on their coins. America is awesome...a country with presidents who bless their people.

Your existence here on planet earth is a blessing from God, as Jerry and Esther Hicks say through Abraham in their law of attraction books "welcome to planet earth."

There is a need to trust God with your vision and the right divine timing for your vision to manifest. This is no different to planting seeds in your garden and allowing them to grow. You cannot rush this process. For the right and perfect plant or flower, these seeds need to grow in their own time. Do not force this process, as forcing the plant or flower to grow may not give you any plant or flower, if so a crappy one. The same goes for your vision in life.

There is a saying that an overnight millionaire takes 15 years of solid work, effort and determination, however stick with it. If you believe it will take 15 years, it will take 15 years. If you believe it will only take a couple of years, this will be true as well. Be in alignment with your vision. Again, in the holy bible 2 Samuel 18:19-20, and in 2 Samuel 16:23 edifies that trusting God for the appointed time in achieving your vision and living it is necessary, in tandem with the need to be patient. And in Isaiah 30:15, having quiet confidence and faith that your calling and life's purpose will come to pass.

Your vision is really the most effective when it aches for the coming. You have full faith (not fear) that it will come to pass. When its your calling, you don't need to look very far for the things to put your vision into. Instead of saying "well Iv'e got to do something..." you need to do that something from the heart. In the case of me setting up Self Avenue with Mina, and engaging in other related business projects in this field; a new consciousness has opened up where the universe is opening up doors for me where previously there were walls. Live selflessly through your God given vision.
