You might find yourself whizzing from one place to another this holiday season however that's not an excuse to forget your health goals It is possible to be healthy even while on the move.

Prep and Pack the essentials: This is most important part of traveling. It can be stressful to find that you have forgotten your favorite moisturiser after a grueling 12-hour flight so make it easier for yourself by planning ahead. Make a checklist of all the essentials you need for your luggage and another one for your carry on. Pack a few weeks early to ensure you have everything you need.

Jet Lag: It is only natural to feel a little tired and confused after a long flight. To reduce the effects of jet-lag, drink plenty of fluids to keep yourself well hydrated. Avoid caffeine and alcohol and while on the flight, take a well-deserved nap.

Hydrate: Bring your own refillable water bottle and have a sip every few minutes. Although, it might mean a few extra tips to the loo, make sure to hydrate properly before getting on the plane.

Snacking: While airport terminals are filled with fast food joints, the food on the Airplane is an unhealthy mix of salty and or sweet foods. To avoid indulging on unnecessary snacks, arrive to the airport having heavy meal and pack some healthy snack to have while you jet off.
