This is how you say “I love you” in just a few of the worlds most spoken languages:
Je t'aime (French)
Te amo (Spanish)
Ich liebe dich (German)
"I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear." (Martin Luther King, Jr.)
In a world that appears to be consumed by thoughts and ideas of money, war, global warming and many other issues that engross an entire nation; it is a striking revelation that people still stop to say “I love you” to the people who they care about the most in this world.
Newspapers, T.V news channels, radio stations and internet websites. These engines are where the majority of the world’s population acquire their daily update on world affairs; however what you will mainly read about on such sources is “doom and gloom.” Magazines which have articles on celebrity love stories appear to be sharing happy news, but as soon as the same relationship hits a rock - the media is all over the once happy couple trying to exploit all their hidden secrets.
It is remarkable that in a world that is obsessed with ambition, greed, and gossip that anyone can find love. Yet it happens on a daily basis. Ordinary people find that one person that they truly love, and who becomes their whole world all the time. Whether you meet someone in a club; on the streets; at work, or even online - love is blossoming all around us. We just have to take the time to look and see.
I attended a wedding last weekend where the bride and groom had known each other since high school, however had not always seem eye-to-eye. Now they are happily married with their first child on the way. There will be no newspaper article written about them. They wont have a feature article written in some magazine, and their faces won't be plastered across the T.V; however for those few hours on the beach as they said their vows - they were each others world, and they were the only people that mattered.
Love comes in many shapes and sizes, and can come from the most unlikely of places. It is happening. Love may not be a story that will sell millions of newspapers, nor will it get featured on the T.V unless such couples are famous. Love is a miracle in which everyone, no matter who or where you are on this planet can engage in. Just the thought of knowing that there is someone out there who means the world to you, and you are their world in return is what keeps us going. All of these other stories in between have no bearing on what you have in your own heart.
Love is all around us, we just need to take the time to find it.
The world is consumed by ambition, greed, gossip and other sins; however your love for another can consume your heart.
Your love may not make the headlines of the media, but as long as you share your love with family and friends,;it will be the headline of your own story.
Everyone is worth loving, you just have to let them.
