My Michelle Bridges 12WBT Journey - Week 9

I can't believe week 8 has been and gone. This week I've dropped another 700 grams, and I'm finding that my new habits are becoming just that, habits. I know that I feel better (and look better) when I make time to fit in my 45-minute workouts each day.

I'm finding that my positive food association and knowledge of calorie intake vs energy output is also having a positive affect on the people in my life. My mum asking my opinion on muesli bar snacks whilst shopping - needless to say, she returned them back to the shelf!

This week, I also went shopping for a dress to wear to my brother's wedding next month. I went to City Chic (which is a shop for fuller women), but was pleasantly surprised when the shop assistant gave an extra small, and then proceeded to tell me that XS is equivalent to a size 14 in other shops. Nice to know that my hard work is paying off, in more ways than one!

I have 3.5 weeks left of this round, before I continue this journey on my own, and I want to make the most of this time and lose another 3.8 kgs before the end. I have found that in the last week or so I feel like I'm plodding along with my exercise sessions. So in order to achieve this goal, I know I need to ramp up the intensity of my workouts again. To do this, I am going to push through, keep moving, and only take the designated breaks on Michelle's online videos. This may mean that I need to switch between the intermediate level and the beginner level; but as long as I keep moving, I know I will keep my heart rate up and burn more calories.

Since it's launch in 2010, Michelle Bridges 12WBT has seen fellow Aussie's shed more than 1 million kilograms.


This week has been huge for the 12WBT program with Michelle Bridges announcing that since the programs inception in 2010, she has guided her community to loose more than 1 million kilograms. I would really encourage you, no matter what your fitness level, weight or health issues to give this program a go. I can guarantee you, you will get more out of this program than just weight loss.
