I have always struggled with my weight. As a teenager and into my early 20's, I regularly played netball but struggled to find a daily exercise routine that I could maintain.
After the birth of my first daughter, I realised I needed to make some changes. Both to be the best role model I could be and also to enjoy the journey without having to worry about my weight or fitness. So in June 2011, I did my first round of Michelle Bridges 12 Week Body Transformation (12WBT). I loved it! I saw 12 kgs fall off me over the 12 weeks, got into a rhythm of exercising 6 days a week and felt the healthiest and happiest I had in a long time. I was also the lightest I had been since high school. Then I fell pregnant with my 2nd daughter.

During my first trimester, I had the usual morning sickness and also felt sick whilst cooking. This, unfortunately, was my undoing. I reverted back to our usual diet of meat and 3 veg and lacked the energy to continue the regular exercise.
My youngest daughter is now 8 months old and I feel tired everyday, uncomfortable in my clothes and know its time for me to take action.
So, I have taken the bull by the horns and signed up to my 2nd round of the 12WBT.
Currently, I am completing the pre-season tasks - which play such an important role in preparing yourself and getting into the right mindset to reach your goals.
