Never take your health for granted. I was listening to a powerful webinar the other night on this topic, and I would like to share with you some of the pearls of wisdom gained from this for your benefit. It's true...without your health, everything else comes secondary, and yes that also includes money.

For example, I went to the dentist back in March to have a routine oral examination, as well as another visit in the same month for a professional hourly scale, polish and clean with an oral hygienist as preventative measures. Neither of these two dental visits kept me immune from a tiny crack in my tooth last night, as at the time of writing this. Even my chocolate tour this morning did not matter that much, even though I still gave my wonderful guests my all to give them a fantastic morning out regardless, and due the efforts made to come on the tour in cold weather. Everything was on hold until I met with a friendly and compassionate emergency dentist to fix my broken tooth, and I was pleased that the procedure was rather simple - simpler than anticipated. Relief. Nice to dodge a bullet.

When you're ill/unwell, you cannot function at your optimum level, and being sick is rather expensive. It affects you financially, whether you're at home resting, or as far as being hospitalised as you cannot have the strength to work and serve others either way. We need to do everything that we can to stay healthy, fit and well. One minute you can be healthy and chirpy as, and the next minute you could either be dead or on life support.

Use that sick leave only when required. Be grateful if your sick leave at work accumulates without the need to use it. Use it or lose it rocks in such circumstances. Same with private health insurance and Medicare.

Get this, how many people actually want to spend the last years of their life in a hospital in disguise aka a nursing home? This is because of stress. People are working way too hard for their bucks, yet take care of your health first, and the money will follow. Take care of your health so you don't need to invest in new, expensive medical technology such as gene mapping to save your life.

Energy is everything. Even at 90 years of age, you can have the body of a 21 year old. How? Ask yourself that quality question. Research. At 90, who wants to wind down? Health expert Michael Domekyo Rowland states that "we're meant to live to at least 120 years of age." Then why are people run down at 50 years of age? Food for thought, and pun intended on this as our highly processed diets play a huge role in our health and wellbeing, and ultimately our happiness. Get this, fizzy drinks (for example) contain at least 28 grams of sugar/poison. Then why are we still programmed to drink such crap? Obesity is dangerous. Garbage in, garbage out.

It is the food that many of us feed our bodies, as well as our conscious, unconscious and superconscious thoughts that are making many people unwell. Unhappiness is the root cause too. There is a couple, where the wife has recently been diagnosed with cancer despite being quite young. It turns out she is in an destructive relationship, and does not have the guts to leave it. Dis-ease can spread like wildfire. Look after yourself to keep dis-ease at bay. Exercise and sleep may be your solution, otherwise something else. Ask your clever mind for assistance. It knows you, your current circumstances and your body more than any so called expert does.
