Boss from hell? Colleague you can’t stand? Both? Some days you leave work in such a state, all you want to do is crawl into bed and never emerge again.

Monday is always the hardest, it’s the furthest away from the weekend. When your alarm goes off on a Monday morning; there is a split second of pure peaceful bliss when you first open your eyes, and then you realise its Monday.

Tuesday is a little easier but not great. You’re still on the uphill strip to the weekend. The only reason it’s better than Monday is because it’s not Monday.

Wednesday, the middle of the week. Everything’s downhill from Wednesday. It’s important to remind yourself you’ve made it this far, and there's only two more days until the end of the working week.

Thursday, the day before Friday; the taste of freedom is on the tip of your tongue, plus it’s late night shopping. Therefore it’s not all bad.

Friday, the best day. All you have to do is get through the next eight hours and you’re free. I celebrate my Fridays by taking a two-hour nap straight after work. It’s important to unwind. Remember to take a few hours out of your day to do something for yourself.

The best way to get through the week is to remind yourself why you do what you do, whether you’re doing it for your family; saving for that much needed holiday, wedding or house.

It’s important to put time aside for yourself, to heal and to recover. Build up your strength so you’re ready to go through it all again next week.

Learning's:

Work is the gateway to our abundance.

Remember, Monday and Tuesday will pass. So will Wednesday.

Time out is needed for rest and reflection.

Work is a necessary part of our life, so we might as well enjoy it.
