I started out online making graphics for various websites and got into writing because sometimes I couldn't hold a pen to draw and if I could it was all wobbly.

I wanted another way to be involved. My mind was working even if my body wasn't.

It was not easy for me. Every word had to be pulled out - staccato like - all jerky and disconnected.

As with anything, the more you practice - the more you learn - thus you're likely to improve.

After a while l had a formula or recipe that worked for me. There are a few but I found something that works most of the time.

If I'm up against the wall about something I call on my mantra (normally a motivating phrase or word repeated) ...

Think creatively.

This has held me in good stead for at least the last 10 years and has helped me to see perceived limitation as opportunity.

Of course, life can throw you curve balls and for some reason or other you might not be able to resolve the issues. Let those ones go. Along with the disappointments.

Things to Consider

Think of other ways to resolve something. There is more than one way to skin a cat.
Think more of what you CAN do rather than what you cannot.
Sometimes things are out of your control. Ditch them.
Look ahead - one door closes and another opens.
Sort yourself out a mantra or three.
